Wildlife
Meet the neighbours
The waters of Dublin Bay are alive with an incredible variety of wildlife, making every journey along the coastline a rich and memorable experience. Along the rocky shores and islands such as Dalkey Island, you’ll often spot playful seals lounging on the rocks or slipping gracefully through the water. The skies above are just as lively, filled with seabirds like gulls, cormorants, and sometimes even puffins during the right season, all diving and gliding in search of food. Beneath the surface, the bay is home to marine life including fish, crustaceans, and occasionally dolphins or porpoises that may appear alongside the boat, adding a magical touch to the trip. As you pass landmarks like the iconic Kish Lighthouse, the blend of wildlife, sea air, and sweeping coastal views creates a truly immersive encounter with Ireland’s natural beauty.
